How I Work

The Approach

One person, start to finish. A flat fee, agreed up front. No surprises either way.

Every project is flat-fee, agreed before work starts. No hourly clock, no surprise invoices — just a scope we settle on together and a price that holds regardless of how many rounds it takes to get it right.

You work directly with me, start to finish — from the first conversation through launch and whatever support comes after. No account manager, no hand-offs, nothing lost in translation. And when a project calls for more than one set of hands, I bring in trusted collaborators from nearly twenty years in the industry — so scope never outpaces capability, and you're still only ever talking to one person.

Before Tin Can Media, I spent nearly twenty years in production — most recently at Oracle, working across acquisition, editing, motion graphics, and full-scale event video. That background shapes how I approach every build: clean execution, clear communication, and a finished product that actually works the way it's supposed to.

01

Flat Fee, Always

The price is set before work begins and it holds. No clock, no billing surprises, no hourly rate creeping the cost up as a project runs long.

02

One Point of Contact

You talk to the person actually doing the work — every time. No account manager, no hand-offs, no lost context between conversations.

03

Built to Actually Work

Clean code, sensible structure, and a finished product built for how it'll really be used — SEO and AEO included from the start, not bolted on after.

In More Detail

Helping You Win

Nearly two decades making video for corporate leaders, product launches, and human-interest stories — from a full team scripting and shooting a large production, to editing a basic talking-head or building motion graphics solo. The goal is always the same: focus on what matters to the audience and turn an average production into an extraordinary one.

Experience & Resources

Years working in Silicon Valley with companies like Cisco, Apple, and Oracle — producing and editing for major conventions, CEO messages, and product rollouts for executives including Scott McNealy, Safra Catz, and Larry Ellison. That network of collaborators is still active today.

Branding & Consistency

Brand perception is what a user experiences first and last — and it has to hold together across every platform. Forward-thinking work on social media concerns like captioning, viewer retention, and overall brand experience carries directly into how sites and campaigns get built today.

Jeff grew up between Seattle, Korea, and San Francisco, and majored in classical guitar and composition — he still performs around the Bay Area. That musical background led into production work, starting as an audio engineer at McCune Sound and moving through nearly every role on set before landing at Oracle's Digital Media Group. Tin Can Media is what came next.
